All Air Malta employees will begin to enjoy a further reduction in the price of air tickets after the company decided to deduct the payment of fuel tax on tickets used by their employees.
“This benefit will be given to the workers after the company welcomed the proposal made by the GWU’s Maritime and Aviation sector, in recognition of the workers’ loyalty towards the company,” said GWU’s Media and Information Executive Mr Charles Vella.
Air Malta’s management welcomed the GWU proposal and this measure shall come into effect as from tomorrow. This means that Airmalta’s employees, a part from a reduction on the tickets which they are entitled to as company employees, shall also begin to enjoy a further reduction since they are also exempt from paying the fuel tax on air tickets.
