A 31-year-old Libyan man who resides in Malta was yesterday robbed by two hooded men carrying a firearm, police said.
The hold up took place in Triq id-Dragun, Qormi, when the man was getting into his car.
The thieves stopped him, stole a tool box from his luggage booth, assaulted him and ran off.
The man was treated at Mater Dei Hospital for injuries he sustained to his hand.
