Nationalist MP Sues ‘It-Torca’

Nationalist MP David Agius yesterday sued the General Workers Union weekly It-Torca newspaper editor Aleks Farrugia and registered editor Alfred Briffa as he claimed that the newspaper’s front page story published on Sunday was defamatory and libellous.
He claimed that the article entitled David Agius: Iva, hemm il-korruzzjoni fil-PN (David Agius: yes there is corruption within the Nationalist Party) was aimed at damaging his reputation.
