Miller's boys will be meeting Wales early this afternoon at the Hibernians Ground (kick-off 1.30pm) and they will be seeking another positive result at home following the 2-1 victory over Bosnia Herzegovina.

Despite those three points, Malta is still occupying bottom place with the same Bosnia side. A victory or even a draw today will push them one step up the table.

Coach Mark Miller is hopeful that his boys will again rise to the occasion as they had done in the match against Bosnia. However, he concedes that with Wales having the chance to win the group, then it will definitely not be an easy task.

The Welsh had beaten Malta 3-1 in Wales last October and they scored two fine wins over Bosnia and France recently, confirming that they are one of the top teams in the group with several players having Premier League experience.

Missing the match is the suspended Hibernians midfielder Edmond Agius. Andrei Agius, who was set to return after missing the last game, is also set to miss this game through injury.
