The Marsascala Shopowners Association said it was pleased that following the conference on economic regeneration in the town, there has been a continuous discussion on the pros and cons of a yacht marina.

It said it was in constant discussion with various stakeholders on the matter and that the discussions, opinions and arguments given so far were very positive. In spite of various people recognising that there might be some obstacles to overcome and some considerations to take into account in order to ensure that the common good was achieved, it seemed that the general attitude was to address these together.

The project, it said, would attract investment to Marsascala which would see the upgrading of the environment and of the quality of life there.
