Labour deputy leader Charles Mangion said the Nationalist Party’s weapons were manipulation, deceit and lies.

He said the PN had referred to a website which referred to the MLP’s proposal on overtime, but the PN failed to point out that he had corrected a point in the interview carried.

The Labour proposal on overtime, Dr Mangion said, meant that overtime would be paid as at present but overtime earnings would be exempt from income tax, which would leave more money in the pockets of those working overtime.
