From Mr J. Azzopardi
The futility of politicians trying to use meaningless and empty battle cries in an attempt to draw votes is pathetic.
The fact of the matter is that the hardcore supporters of the respective parties will always vote for their party in any case. At the end of the day, it is the small percentage of floaters that decide who governs, as has been the case in recent elections. What politicians seem to forget is that floaters consist principally of intelligent people who are capable of assessing situations based on facts and results and not on emotions, loyalty to the party, traditions or empty promises.
It is counterproductive for politicians to continue insulting our intelligence.
