What A coincidence!

From Mr E. Privitera

On the very same day that the Nationalist Party put up a billboard showing the ex-Malta Labour Party ministers of the 1996-1998 Labour government, Daphne Caruana Galizia’s article featured pictures of the same ex-Labour ministers in Dr Alfred Sant’s Labour government. What a coincidence! Or is it?

It has already been reported that the Nationalist Party strategists have been meeting various columnists and opinion formers in the English language papers such as The Times and The Sunday Times, in order to get them to play the tune required by the Nationalist Party during the electoral campaign. It is all like an orchestra being conducted by the Nationalist Party conductor from Dar Centrali in Pieta’! It is quite obvious that Ms Caruana Galizia together with Il-Bocca, alias Dr A. Borg Cardona, are the two main soloists in the orchestra!

Besides Ms Caruana Galizia’s pathetic attempt to put down all the ex-Malta Labour Party ministers, against whom no whiff of corruption was ever levelled, she couldn’t resist taking a vile dig at Dr Sant, because when he reached out to touch his mother’s hand, his mother grabbed his hand and kissed it lovingly like any mother would do to her son, who had been through such a trying time! As usual, Ms Caruana Galizia has shown that she possesses a unique ability to instil revulsion even among Nationalist Party readers of her articles!

If Dr Sant is the Nationalist Party’s greatest asset, as the Nationalist Party’s propaganda machine keeps repeating (we’ll soon know how wrong they are!), Ms Caruana Galizia is the Nationalist Party’s greatest enemy since she keeps convincing uncommitted voters to vote Labour just to spite her!!
