The Larry King of the Malta Labour Party media, Charlon Gouder, last week shot himself badly in the foot much to the consternation of the Tmexxija Laburista.

The good chap, with much bravado, asked Minister Ninu Zammit if he (Ninu, that is) would be disgruntled if after the next general election Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi decided to reshuffle the cabinet, and he (Ninu, that is) would be left out.

To the amusement of those present – except Charlon, that is – Ninu Zammit thanked Charlon Gouder for confirming that the Nationalist Party will be returned to power. “So you’re convinced that the Labour Party will lose the elections, are you?” said Ninu to Charlon. “Only a Prime Minister can change the cabinet, and you’re confirming that Lawrence Gonzi will be Prime Minister.”

Thanks Charlon, you’re a gem.
