The Prime Minister will be contesting the second and ninth districts on 8 March.
Accompanied by PN deputy leader Tonio Borg, he submitted his nomination to the Electoral Commission in Valletta yesterday.
The second district is made up of Vittoriosa, Cospicua, Senglea, Kalkara, Xghajra and Zabbar; the ninth is made up of Gharghur, San Gwann, Swieqi, Msida, Ta’ Xbiex, Kappara, Ibrag and Madliena.
Yesterday, the Electoral Commission said 107 candidates submitted their nominations for the general election, bringing the number to a total of 247 candidates.
