More workers in the private and health sectors have joined the Union Haddiema Maghqudin, the Union said without giving any figures. It added it has gained sole recognition at Crampac Ltd, Hal Far, the Organisation for the Integration and Welfare of Asylum Seekers (OIWAS), Lufthansa German Airlines, Medichem Manufacturing Ltd. of Hal Far and JF Security – Aviation Security Assistants at Malta International Airport.

The UHM said it will shortly start negotiating collective agreements for these workers.
