The Pioneer National 4 stroke Karting League organised at the Badger Raceway continued last Sunday 10th February.
The first race of the evening was contested by the intermediate level and here Fabio Baldachino had an excellent outing as he dominated both the qualifying session as well as the race with a commanding performance. James Spiteri also did well to finish second while Mario Micallef finished third.
The Advanced category was the final race of the evening, here we had a highly entertaining three way battle from start to finish. Luke Vella Clark is in hot form at the moment and he underlined this by taking an important pole position which gave him the platform to take the lead early in the race, although challenged all the way by Matthew Ciappara and Luke Bugeja he managed to hang on to his position and claim his first win of the season.
Even more exciting was the race for second place between Ciappara and Bugeja. Both these talented drivers did their outmost to outwit each other and in the end Ciappara nicked second place by an almost photo finish.
Fastest Lap of the evening belonged to Matthew Ciappara with 29.40 seconds
