A certain Randolph Spiteri, who I believe is the PRO of Parliamentary Secretary Frans Agius, claimed in his opinion (TMID, 13 February) that a coalition is a myth.

How disappointing for him to have read, just on the same day, that it is not the intention of his party to have a coalition with the Greens, meaning that a coalition is not only a reality but also a possibility.

Indeed the simple fact is that if the election result on 8 March is 32- 32-1, a coalition will become inevitable.

I am sure that when that day arrives he will be rather keen, not only out of personal interest, to ensure that his party participates in coalition talks.
