Union Haddiema Maghqudin (UHM) has signed a sectoral agreement with Customs and Excise employees.

During the last few months the need for new work practices was felt at Customs, the UHM said, which gave rise to a need for a revision of the memorandum of understanding of 5 April 2006 between UHM and the government.

The revision includes increases in the allowances given to the grades of senior customs assistant, officer, inspector, senior inspector and other grades in senior management.
