“The energy of the man is limitless”, wrote Michael Carabott after experiencing a hectic day in the life of Lawrence Gonzi (TMID, 14 February).

Apart from his fitness, memory, vision and all superlatives, the Prime Minister is a real man of honour, a husband and a father who shares almost everything with his lovable Kate while ensuring that he talks with his mother daily (no! she does not kiss his hand!).

His charismatic and honest smile, intelligence, political acumen, determination and sincere love for our islands single him out as the right man to occupy Castille for yet another term.

Judging him by his achievements it is very clear that he is offering the inhabitants a new Malta; an embellished and much better place to live in, with a sound economic base and brilliant prospects for the future.

These islands do not offer anyone with a firmer pair of hands to continue on the chosen road of progress, economic stability and a superior way of life.
