The Maltapost Naxxar branch started to encash cheques issued by the Department of Social Security, including pension cheques, as from yesterday.
Maltapost said that based on the response at this branch, it would then be looking to extend the service to other localities.
The service will be offered Monday to Friday between 7.30am and 12.45pm.
