The Nationalist Party’s vision for 2015 involved many sectors, apart from the six pillars on which that vision was built. One such sector was that of property, which would benefit from the financial and economic expansion resulting from investment, PN deputy leader Tonio Borg told representatives of the Chamber of Commerce’s Federation of Estate Agents.

Dr Borg said the dialogue and consultation concept the government had been practising would continue and he thanked the federation for the meeting and the contribution they had made through their proposals.

Trafford Busuttil, federation president, expressed satisfaction at the projects proposed for Grand Harbour, Marsamxett and the Sliema front.

The development of Smart City and The Smart Island vision would help expand the country’s property market.

He said there should be more property for leasing because the demand was rising.

Malta should also continue to attract foreigners to buy property here.
