Alternattiva Demoratika is organising a Collective Art Exhibition entitled Core Green at Melita Gardens, Balzan.

The official opening will be held on Friday 29 February at 8.30pm and the exhibition will be open until 14 March.

Core Green is the culmination of green principles which are essential for a quality holistic life. These themes are grassroots democracy, social justice and equal opportunity, ecological wisdom, non-violence, community based economics and economic justice, gender equity, respect and diversity, personal and global responsibility, future focus and sustainability and quality of life. All these themes will be explored by artists through their creative expression.

This exhibition aims to heighten the awareness on these themes, to bring about social change and act as an instrumental tool in promoting cultural dialogue and to celebrate the year 2008 of Inter Cultural Dialogue designed by the European Commission.

Core Green Events will feature in the future local art scenario.
