I wonder whether Alfred Sant’s fans will continue to hold him in exaltation when they realise that – through what is obviously something that has been overlooked by the MLP and others when their children reach the age of 16: they will no longer be entitled to a children’s allowance; they will be unable to work because they have to stay at school for another year; and they will not be entitled to a stipend, because they would still be in senior school.

I, for one, would love to see the look on their faces when reality dawns on them. Unless, of course, Dr Sant would like to “amend” the MLP’s manifesto for the umpteenth time!
