MLP Leader invents another one – PN

Malta Independent Tuesday, 26 February 2008, 00:00 Last update: about 20 years ago

Alfred Sant came out with something else, the Nationalist Party said. He has created the claim that the government has plans to close the Junior College and do away with examinations for the Junior College.

With every day that passed, the PN said, Dr Sant and the Labour Party were coming out with one tale after another to cover the abject failure of his proposal to make repeaters of all children.

First he invented that the government would be closing down the Junior Lyceums, then that the Matsec re-sits would be held later than normal. Both have been denied but he keeps repeating them. Now he has come out with something new. It would not be surprising, the PN said, if he next comes up with saying that the government intends closing down MCAST or the university.
