Six siblings yesterday filed a judicial protest in the First Hall of Civil Courts after the Malta Environment and Planning Authority let WasteServ Ltd start constructing a project on their land.

The siblings said they own garigue land adjacent to land known as tal-Green Skip in Maghtab, Naxxar. They held that WasteServ Ltd was granted a Mepa permit to start a project on their land without consulting them or having their assent.

To this end, they asked WasteServ to refrain from building on their land.

The writ was signed by Dr Anglu Farrugia.
