Dr Sant’s announced electoral battle cry “Who Dares Wins” seems to have fizzled off. Perhaps someone reminded Dr Sant that the motto has been in use by the British Special Air Services (SAS) since its inception in1941. With almost 70 years under its bonnet it can hardly reflect “A new beginning”.

On the other hand, someone may have pointed out that the motto is presently in use by at least 10 of the world’s “special forces” and therefore it would not seem a good idea to use a recycled motto with such a “New Team”.

To be quite frank, the motto “Who Dares Wins” is more pertaining to the foremost military units in the world rather than what appears to be a veteran brigade.
