Marsaxlokk Hit by suspensions

These are midfielder Kevin Sammut, who was the Local champions Marsaxlokk were the worst hit by the MFA Disciplinary Commission, as they had four top players suspended.

Two other players from the Premier League were suspended as well. These are Hamrun’s Rodrick Fenech and Valletta’s Ian Zammit. These two will be missing when the two sides cross swords in the Championship Pool on 11 March.

In Division, two St Patrick players who were sent off from the substitute’s bench, were suspended. Mark Pullicino was suspended for two matches and Arnold Buttigieg for one match.

Other players suspended from Division I, were Qormi’s Anatole Debono and Joseph Saliba, and Anthony Bonello of St George’s. All these players were suspended for one match.
