GRTU Agreements

Malta Independent Friday, 29 February 2008, 00:00 Last update: about 14 years ago

The GRTU, Chamber of Small and Medium Enterprises, said it has entered into two significant agreements with the government about two important community services.

Gas cylinder distributors, it said, are getting the increase due to them from Enemalta Corporation for the increase in costs they are facing. The increase would not be affecting consumer prices, the GRTU said.

The second agreement is with the Finance Ministry. Waste carriers who remove waste door to door will also be compensated for the additional costs they were facing, to put them in a better position to face the new tasks they will have to carry out when the waste separation scheme comes into effect.
