In Scotland, tradition has it that a cry of despair, known as the wailing of the Banshee, is heard by a clan as a premonition of impending doom about to befall it.
Now I have been told that this moaning and wailing was clearly heard during the speech of one of the deputy leaders making his delivery during the MLP clan meeting in Floriana.
Is this just folklore? Is it an omen? We will all know on 9 March.
