He does not recall any comments from your paper, neither do I, because the quotes were partial "il-hanzir jekk taqtaghlu denbu hanzir jibqa'". If one says "il-lupu jbiddel gildu imma ghemilu ma' jibdlux" would that mean that Labourites are being likened to wolves? In both cases it would mean that "old habits die hard".

Dr Mangion , we understand that addressing a very large enthusiastic crowd like the one you had in front of you in Zejtun gets one excited. I recall your colleague, the moderate Dr George Vella also experienced this metamorphosis when on the podium during the EU referendum campaign.

It seems that one needs a lot of self-control, not to get carried away in such a situation.
