Around 350 students from various primary schools watched the spectacular documentary film Al Maha, Through the Eyes of a Falcon, during a special school programme organised by St James Cavalier Centre for Creativity in collaboration with BirdLife Malta and Emirates Airline.

The school programme, which ran for four days, commenced with an illustrated presentation on magnificent birds of prey by Sandra Mifsud, BirdLife Malta’s Dinja Wahda Schools Coordinator.

Following BirdLife’s presentation and a question and answer session, the students watched the Emirates-sponsored documentary film about the conservation of Saker falcons. Al Maha, Through the Eyes of a Falcon, showcased the amazing journey of four young Saker falcons, from their birth at the Dubai Conservation Reserve Centre and Al Maha desert, which culminated in their release into the wild.

The morning concluded with an art session related to the film by a group of art animators from St James Cavalier Centre for Creativity.
