Baseball is a non-contact game which requires good hand and eye coordination. Speed and distance are crucial elements for a player to decide upon and handle the various game situations according to one’s experience and ability.
This was explained by coach Patrick Pace during one of Skolasport sessions at the Marsa Sports Complex, organised by Kunsill Malti ghall-iSport and sponsored by Kelloggs for the 9th consecutive year. Sessions are held on Saturday mornings at 9am.
On joining Baseball sessions at Skolasport, participants are taught the fundamentals of this sport, followed by strategic thinking of how to play one’s best bat. Thus, apart from learning the actual techniques and skills, baseball or softball also fortifies ones endurance and confidence whilst affronting failure positively and with challenge.
Boys and girls are invited to join the baseball/softball sessions at beginner and intermediate level as part of the Skolasport programme, organised by the Kunsill Malti ghall-Isport and sponsored by Kelloggs. Kellogg’s promotes good nutrition and physical exercise for a healthy living and well-being.
