The current wrestling season edition of the British Airways Youth League got underway at the Gym of the Naxxar Boys secondary with a combined weight categories tournament from which eleven individual weight categories winners emerged. Unfortunately one of the most quoted junior wrestlers, Adam Vella, did not take part as he was indisposed.

While the more rather seasoned youths especially those with international experience continued showing good form others like David Zammit, Jack Linecher and Kyle Attard caught the eye with their technical improvement since their last competition.
