The Middlesea Valletta Life National League has rolled through week eight at the SuperBowl, where Aercomms regained the Division I lead from arch rivals Fina First thanks to a huge 8-0 win over Turu's Knights.
Fina dropped two valuable points in their win against fifth placed Royal Shock, and there was a similar result for third placed PharmaVet over Inlusion (7th). Ramis drew level on points with PharmaVet thanks to their full point win over The Clan, while Globalair struck pushed further away from relegation danger with their own 8-0 victory against HSBC.
Aercomms took back the top spot in style as they were never troubled by Turu’s Knights during their impressive 8-0 victory this week.
They came out with all guns blazing to take the opening game of the series 836-722, and then doubled their lead with an 810-759 win in game two. The last of the set was their best of the night as they easily won it 870-769 to round off the whitewash. Kenneth Arpa (Aercomms), 668. Philippe Vancell (Turu's Knights), 580.
Fina First dropped two points due to a rather low second game loss in their victory over Royal Shock to drop to second place. Fina started off with a 768-675 opening win to go two up, but Royal Shock were soon on level terms as game two went in their favour with a 717-771 score line.

PharmaVet remain ten points down on the top two, but advanced to third after picking up another valuable win in week eight with a 6-2 result against seventh placed Inlusion.
Game one was a high scoring affair, claimed by PharmaVet with an 849-813 score line, but they were stopped in their tracks by Inlusion in game two which went to the latter 708-739 to make it two all.
The match was anybody’s for the taking as the deciding third game began, but it was PharmaVet who prevailed thanks to their 768-682 win which handed them the series points by 91 pins (2,325-2,234). Colin Attard (PharmaVet), 588. Ramon Casha (Inlusion), 548.
After their poor start to the season Ramis have now improved to fourth place after their full point victory over The Clan this week, the latter being firmly rooted to the foot of the table.
The opening game was very close, falling to Ramis by just five pins (699-704), while game two saw them claim a much easier 683-773 victory. Globalair Travel also came out on top of another full point victory in week eight, unlucky HSBC finishing on the losing end of the match result.
Globalair opened with a good 784-719 win in game one, but game two was much closer with just 16 pins separating the two, Globalair making it 4-0 with a 763-747 win.
