The U-14 Volleyball Festival for schools was held at the Cottonera Sports Complex recently.

Thirteen teams in all participated in this festival; six in the boys’ category and seven in the girls’ category. These teams came from eight different schools.

Participation in the boys category were two teams from Verdala Boys’ Junior Lyceum, two teams from G. Galea Boys’ Secondary School, and one team each from St. Aloysius College and St. Edward’s College.

The girls’ teams consisted of two teams each from St. Margaret College Cospicua, St. Maria Goretti Secondary School, St. Monica School and St Catherine School.

The games were played on a 4-on-4 format.

Girls: Winners: St. Margaret 1, Runners-up: St. Monica 1
