Energy Efficiency is about reducing carbon emissions for the betterment of the environment. Energy Efficiency is also about energy savings, great savings especially in industry.

George Cassar of the Malta Resources Authority, entitled An Energy Efficiency Action Plan for Malta,” in which he stated that the national energy efficiency act will lead to energy end-use savings of nine per cent in nine years, at a national level.
Ing. George Cassar was followed by UK environmental consultant Justin Segrave-Daly, who gave a talk entitled “A Whistle Stop Tour of UK Energy Efficiency”. Mr Segrave-Daly’s presentation included a brief company overview of Harrison Environmental Ltd, of which he forms part, the reasons for being energy efficient, how to begin in energy efficiency, business achievements in energy efficiency, as well as energy efficiency in new UK housing.
