Last Sunday saw one of the best attended show jumping competitions of the season, with over 35 entries registered in all classes. Riders of all standards competed in the Maghatab Riding Club Championship, where horse and rider teams accumulated points according to the number of wins or placings. They stand to take home the coveted Winner’s Cup at the end of the season.

Some up and coming competitors stood out on the day, in particular young rider Desiree Schmid on her mare, Love Parade, who finished with two wins.

Daniel Micallef with his equine partner Ginger are also proving their worth by performing consistently well this season. The winners of last Sunday’s event are listed below:
