The Malta Labour Party wanted children to go through an extra year before they join the primary school. This proposal, which the MLP termed as the reception class, was aptly billed as the repeater class by the Nationalist Party.
The people have now voted, and the PN has won, again. This leaves the MLP in opposition for a third consecutive term.
