FIFA referee Marco Borg has been appointed referee in the UEFA Under 17 European Championship Group 5 Mini-tournament in Northern Ireland, in which Northern Ireland, Scotland, Slovenia and Wales will be competing.

During the tournament, which is being held this week, Borg will control the Wales v Slovenia and the Scotland v Wales matches. Edward Spiteri, FIFA assistant referee, will be assisting him in both matches.

Meanwhile, FIFA referee Esther Azzopardi has been appointed referee in the UEFA Under 17 Women European Championship Mini-tournament in Montpellier, France, between today and 23 March.

The participating teams are France, Scotland, Norway and the Republic of Ireland. Mariano Debono, FIFA Assistant Referee, has been appointed as assistant referee.
