A man was injured at a factory at the Marsa industrial estate yesterday morning.
The police said the 49-year-old Kalkara man was in a confectionery factory and injured his hand against one of the machines.
The man does not work there.
He was taken to hospital where he was certified to be suffering from grievous injuries, though not in danger of dying.
