A San Gwann man was granted bail yesterday against a personal guarantee of e1,500 and on condition that he enrols in a drug rehabilitation programme within a month.
Before magistrate Antonio Micallef Trigona, Samwel Borg, 21, pleaded not guilty to stealing e800 and a Bank of Valletta debit card from Amanda Curmi from Mellieha. He also pleaded not guilty to relapsing.
Senior Police Inspector Paul Bond prosecuted while Dr Anglu Farrugia appeared for the accused.
