British Airways is launching a dozen new routes from Gatwick to European hotspots this summer – to Alicante, Antalya, Faro, Genoa, Gibraltar, Ibiza, Malaga, Malta, Palma, Paphos, Poznan and Tunis.
British Airways’ commercial director, Robert Boyle, said: "As one of the only shorthaul, full service carriers at Gatwick, we combine low fares with complimentary food and drink, pre-allocated seats and the opportunity to join the BA Executive Club.
"We also provide a choice of two cabins. Club Europe, for business and premium leisure customers with dedicated lounge facilities, and Euro Traveller. Customers in Euro Traveller at Gatwick can upgrade to Club Europe for £59 one-way".
Other highlights of British Airways’ summer 2008 schedule include more flights to the US from Heathrow and new routes from London City airport.
