Birkirkara striker Jean Pierre Mifsud Triganza is my choice this week after scoring the two goals that enabled his side to beat his former club Floriana.

Those two goals made him the club’s top scorer this season on eight and it was certainly the best he could do to repay coach John Buttigieg for showing confidence in his abilities.

At present, Mifsud Triganza is not only scoring the goals but he is also being influential and showing good combination with his team-mates as the Stripes remain in contention for the title.
