The Federazzjoni Maltija Lotta (Malta Amateur Wrestling Federation) held the second tournament in the Series British Airways Youth League 2007-08 at the gym of the Naxxar Boys Secondary.

The competition was organised on combined and individual categories basis from which emerged the different weight categories’ winners.

Combined weight categories serve for wrestlers from different weights to compete against each other to earn more experience. This system operated by the federation for quite a long time now has always given good results.

Wrestlers such as Adam Vella, Matthew Bonnici, Andrea Saliba and Aidan Buhagiar kept showing improvements technically and physically while David Zammit, Duncan Farrugia and Jack Lineker were better than their last appearance on the mat.
