From Mr G. Caruana

In his article “Focus on the political parties” (TMIS, 30 March), J. G. Vassallo asserts that when MPs are firstly accountable to the political party, and secondly to public opinion, it represents an advance in democracy.

Actually, in that order it would represent the antonym of democracy.
