I am writing this letter on behalf of Kevin Charles Micallef in connection with a court report entitled Couple ordered to pay for allowing Persian to breed without rights (TMID, 27 March).

In the first place I would like to attract your attention to the fact that I find it rather strange that your newspaper reported the Small Claims Tribunal decision in that report in connection with a case that was decided two years ago.

Secondly, you have been totally misled because it is not true and totally unfounded that Kevin Charles Micallef was condemned to pay damages by the Small Claims Tribunal. To the contrary my client was exonerated from all responsibility from paying any such damages.
