High flying Valletta will be without their captain Gilbert Agius in their next match against Hamrun Spartans.

The Valletta captain was suspended for one match yesterday by the MFA Disciplinary Commission. On their part Hamrun Spartans will have both Ryan and Rodrick Fenech missing against the league leaders as they were both suspended, with Ryan suffering a two-match ban.

Another Premier League player suspended for one match was Trevor Templeman of champions Marsaxlokk.

Five players were suspended for one match from the First Division League. The worst hit were bottom placed St Patrick who will be missing the services of Edric Borg and Mark Pullicino in their next match.

Other players suspended for one match were Marsa’s DarrenVella, Mellieha’s striker Gianluca Calabretta and Senglea defender Digger Okonkwo.
