First Division side St Patrick FC and the club’s Youth Nursery will soon be benefiting from a new surface to their pitch at Zabbar.

A new synthetic turf surface is close to being completed. Work on the project was in the hands of Allsports International. It became possible through the help of the government and the autonomous committee of the club’s nursery. The MFA and the Maltese Council for Sport are also expected to help.

The pitch is an addition to the existing facility for a five-a-side teams.
