Once again Punch Promotions, in association with Challenger Fitness Centre, will be organising this evening's Malta-England match at the Cottonera Sports Complex.
Malta will be represented by the Punch Promotions team, while England's team hails from the ZT Fight School of Brighton.
With no fewer than four title fights on the show for IPA belts, this show will see Malta's heavyweight champion Billy 'the hitman' Corito again in action. Billy has improved a lot since his last fight under the guidance of Scott Dixon and John Essex who say Billy could go a long way in European professional boxing.
Maybe Malta has a world heavyweight champion in the making. He takes on England's Sheridan Davie who has a fight record of five wins by the way of knockout and two losses.
Also, super Scott Dixon will defend his IPA super middleweight international title against England's hard punching David Kuczai. David has said he will knock Scott out. Kuczai has a fight record of 10 wins, eight by way of knockout, but Scott has other plans and is confident in retaining his title.
Scott is still a force to be reckoned with. He has three wins here in Malta and is looking to make it four.
Also in action will be Steve 'the cobra' Aquilina who will face a tough task when he takes on England's dangerous Dale Evans. This fight will be for the IPA international middleweight title.
The other bouts are as follows:
Reynald Tabone-Kaleed Hughes; Carlos Bonello-Mark Holden; Haithan Laamouz-Ross Lynch.
All boxers on our next promotion will undergo a strict medical and will hold a Malta Boxing Board of Control licence which regulates safety in boxing.
The first bout is scheduled to commence at 7.30pm.
