Double Trap Shooter William Chetcuti is in Beijing, China, where next Tuesday he will be taking part in the ISSF World Cup.

This competition will be held over three rounds Double Trap of 50 clays each with the best six shooters in the world to qualify for a barrage final on Tuesday afternoon. He is accompanied by his coach Jimmy Bugeja and by the MSSF President Savior Portelli.

William has been on an intensive training programme, which included both technical and physical training for this World Cup series which includes competitions in Munich and Milan in May, Suhl and Belgrade in June, The European Championships in Nicosia, Cyprus in July and the most expected The XXIV Olympic Games in Beijing, China, in August.

According to the latest edition of ISSF NEWS magazine William is still the holder of the Double Trap Juniors World record of 146/200, which he obtained in Cyprus 26-6-2004.He is also ranked among the super 25 in Double Trap in the World.
