On Saturday Marsa C.C played Harrow School from the United Kingdom who were on there ninth tour in as many years.

Sarfraz Ali came on to bowl and bewildered the batsmen taking three wickets that of H.Khayat (five runs), O.Bunting (18 runs) and that of J.Galbraitz (12 runs).

Frank Spiteri chipped in with two wickets that of M.Morgan (18 runs) and that of A. Harrow School was bowled out in the 50th over with five balls remaining. Harrow with the aid of extras totaled a reasonable 269 runs. Their main strength in the batting was the running between the wicket. They only scored a dozen fours in the whole of their innings.

Marsa’s reply was very slow and lost too many early wickets. After 20 overs, the Marsa team had only scored 58 runs and had already lost the wickets of Joy Ghoseroy (four runs), Mark G.Sacco (five runs), John Grima (run out without facing a ball) and Chris Naudi (16 runs).
