Malta’s Shaun Parnis won his last group match in the qualifying round in the Men’s Section 2, beating his Korean opponent 14-2, 11-3.

It was his 10th win from as many matches, leaving him undefeated in the qualifying round.

Earlier Parnis had defeated opponents from with Guernsey, Hong Kong China, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Norfolk Island and Portugal. He finished leading the section comfortably with a maximum 18 points.

He now faces a Canadian opponent in the first round of the finals.
