Kindly convey my sad, sorry and sincere feelings to the lady found guilty of so called “indecent exposure” while she was apparently enjoying herself going topless at Gnejna Bay.
Lets face it, the lady made a few important points in her appeal, one of which was that some men these days have larger breasts than some women, especially those that go to the gym, and so on.
Forgive me, but surely the time has come for Malta, its citizens, its laws, the law makers, as well its juridical system, to agree that the Dark Ages are over and its time to modernise Malta and accept a change, one for the better One reason being that were we not all not born naked? What is so unacceptable about nature and being natural as long as it’s reasonable?
What a waste of time, effort and money for the law enforcing bodies that ended up pursuing such silly and trivial matters when there is a clear need for these essential and important services to be deployed and better used elsewhere?
As for the public that goes to this area of Gnejna Bay who carry on persisting in making complaints about such “trivial natural” matters, having known dam well that nude bathing is likely to be part of the scenario in this part of the world, I say why not ”buzz off” and go elsewhere. Silly idiots like these that ”seek” attention should be paid no heed.
Finally, with genuine and all due respect to the present Maltese laws, this case in my opinion should have been dismissed.
