A team of six players is representing the Marsa Squash Section in Tychy, Poland in the 2008 Tychy Inter-City Squash Challenge Tournament.

The players representing Marsa have taken part in the individual championships in their respective categories, with all players playing four tough matches in one day.

In the first round of the team event Marsa were scheduled to play the team from Warsaw.

Matches against London, Liptovski (Slovakia) Poznan and the hosts Tychy were to follow.

This team event is not only for the top players in a club but also for A and B grade players giving players of all standards the chance to compete in an international tournament making this tournament format unique.

Marsa team Captain Nigel Dunkerley said: “I hope that the Marsa team all do their best and enjoy the team tournament. Last year we finished runners-up and I hope that we can go one better this year and win the title for Marsa. Personally I’ll be aiming for a top three finish in the individual event!”
